Event requirements
- Valid vintage race license with current medical clearance required, and must be presented at registration in order to race.
- The State of New Jersey requires a 2020SA or newer helmet; FIA spec.8859-15 or 8860-18 are also accepted.
- New Jersey law states the following regarding roll bar padding: Roll bar padding meeting SFI Specification 45.1 is mandatory anywhere a driver's helmet or body may come in contact with roll bar components. Make sure your car is compliant before showing up at Tech.
- Please visit the Events page of the VRG website, where there are three important documents for your thorough review before attending. They are Basic Expectations For Racing With VRG, VRG Driver Rules of Conduct and the VRG Event Code of Conduct.
- The VRG Driver Orientation Program Video is required viewing for all entrants new to VRG events (and also a good refresher for everyone).
- The FAQ has details about Camping (free!) electricity (cheap!), amenities, showers, accommodations and all the rest. If you have other questions please contact the Registrar or Event Chair (Andrew Stein).
- The tentative Schedule is also posted on the Events page.
- After the track closes on Saturday join us in the paddock for live music with Chapel Street Junction (Americana/Bluegrass/Irish). We'll be serving beer and non-alcoholic beverages and have a communal grill fired up so you can have a convenient byo cookout.
