Tribute Tour GT4

Fellow PCA-er Kevin Mikelonis from Paso Robles, CA is doing a Tribute Tour for his friend Phil who lost his fight with cancer. Phil used his GT4 in a "Dawn Patrol" which has a large Instagram following. He believed in driving his Porsche. You have to hear the story yourself from the delightful Kevin who contacted me recently about attending our picnic as part of this Tribute Tour. Paolo basically launched his career in automotive story telling by asking Phil whom he did not know at the time if he could tell the story of his Dawn patrol drives in his GT4. Phil said ‘yes’ like he does and treated Paolo like family. The opening of Phil’s ‘Last Patrol’ farewell you watched is Phil and Paolo together in the GT4 for the first time to capture Big Sur and the GT4 at Dawn. Paolo’s BIG LAUGH is wat you hear when that sunrise appears in the opening scene.

Paolo is now creative director for Petrolicious – and he is forever grateful to Phil for just saying yes. He lived his life helping other make their dreams come turn by participating and encouraging them.
