Start Your Summer with a Track Day! 

The SCCA Chicago Region invites you to the Autobahn Country Club on Friday, May 22 -- the beginning of Memorial Day weekend! --  with an evening Track Event on the SOUTH Course.

Overview:  We are planning three run groups for this event, and each group is scheduled to have three 20-minute sessions. 

Entries:  The entry fee for current SCCA members is ~ $200. For non-members, the entry fee of ~$220 covers your entry + a ~$20 weekend membership, and the weekend membership fee can be applied to a full SCCA membership if you join within 60 days. Sign up for an annual membership at https://www.scca.com/pages/membership and become eligible for discounts, experiences, and even more fun with cars.

Event Day:  Check-In begins at 2:45 PM and closes at 3:45 PM; the mandatory drivers’ meetings start at 4:15 PM; and on-track activities are scheduled to begin at 5:00 PM.

Run Groups: For safety and everyone's enjoyment, drivers will be divided into run groups based on skill and experience. The Track Event is for drivers of all experience levels and offers three options:

1) a Novice run group; 

2) an Intermediate run group;

3) an Advanced run group. 

Please sign up early to secure your spot in the correct group! 

We emphasize “driver development” by offering three different driver-experience groups; this encourages developing drivers at the novice and intermediate levels to move up to the next group when they are ready without having to run above their comfort/experience level.

Time Trials Drivers:  If you are looking for a competitive challenge, check out the the Chicago Region TrackSprint Events (May 16 and August 28) and the Central Division Time Trials Series (dates TBA).
