Come and join us for a mostly rural mid island adventure! Challenge your friends to join in, starting in Parksville and ending in Courtenay. It will be a fun day on scenic paved back roads. The trick is to “stay on time” to avoid any time penalties. Remember, this is not a race, but a precision driving event that pits a team of two, a driver & a navigator, to negotiate some fantastic roads, within safe legal limit speeds. Sure, it sounds easy, but it’s not!
This is a true novice event, so everything is clearly spelled out, with easy to follow instructions and recovery points if you get lost. There will be experienced rallyists available for answering questions and giving guidance. Never done a rally? We will provide a Zoom orientation session about one week before the event to get you up to speed.
Event requirements
The maximum number of entries will be 30 cars.
This rally is 99% on paved roads. There is a 400m section of very good light gravel.
You will need to have a smart phone with the Richta Competitor app installed for continual operation during this rally. The Competitor app is available for iOS and Android in their respective stores (free).

Since the car you use has to meet basic requirements, mostly safety related, you should read the tech inspection form ahead of time.
If neither driver nor navigator owns the car, you will need to provide signed permission from the car owner to have it used in the rally.
