Thank you for considering this event.  As a reminder, July 19/20 is the only weekend event between now and the 3rd week of September where you will be able to get your car on track with minimal traffic.  These private group registration options are for higher end, higher performance cars with driver skills ranging from Advanced to Intermediate. (separate run groups for each) The vehicle limit is 15 cars per run group so the track is wide open with absolutely no traffic.

The idea behind these groups is to gather like minded, courteous drivers with a desire to drive their higher end, higher performance cars on track with few impediments, and no 'yahoos' on track in Lemons cars! 

Due to the level of interest and the varying skill levels of drivers, we have decided to open (2) of these run groups to satisfy everyone's needs on Saturday, and (1) run group on Sunday.  This provides an option for 2-Day drivers.   

The Advanced Private Group

• Drivers capable of traversing Sonoma raceway in under 1:50
• Open Passing (courteous, clean, and predictable passing)

The Mixed Private Group

• Drivers capable of traversing Sonoma in over 1:51
• Uses our Mixed Passing Rules where cars that want to control passing around them identify themselves with a vinyl 'Dot' on the back of their car.  Cars approaching from behind must wait for a hand signal before overtaking these vehicles.   Cars not wearing a 'Dot' on the back of their car can be passed using the same rules for the Advanced Private Group. (courteous, clean, and predictable passing.

Low Car Count - With a car count of 15 or less, and a group of courteous and skilled drivers, it's very rare to see issues with on-track communication and passing in these groups.

Your $695 entry includes:

• (5) 20 minute sessions each day
• A private drivers meeting each day
• Garage parking (2 cars per slot) 
• A place to hang out between sessions. (1st or 2nd floor media center)

With a limited number of spaces over the weekend (45 to be exact), these may fill quickly.  So, find a friend, secure a 'kitchen pass' from your significant other, and come out and enjoy this rare event for the 2025 driving season at Sonoma Raceway!
