Motoring Unlimited will be hosting a Tech Talk session at their shop on Thursday, June 30th at 6:30pm.  Ross Bentley and Jake Coen will give the presentation on driving skills and recommendations for car set up in advance of our Geschwindigkeit track day at Pacific Raceways on July 8th.

For those of you that don't know Ross, he is an accomplished racing driver (Indy cars, USRRC, 24 Hours of Daytona).  Ross is also a performance driving coach, speaker and author of the acclaimed Speed Secrets series of books.  He is currently president of the newly-launched DirtFish Rally School (www.dirtfish.com), provides driver coaching and information through Driver Coach (www.drivercoach.net), and founded the teen driving school SWERVE Driver Training.  Ross is passionate about performance and driving!

Jacob Coen, one of the leading Porsche and Audi technicians in the country, is the Technical Director at Motoring Unlimited – your “go-to guy.”  Despite his youthful looks, he has a huge amount of knowledge and experience, and a passion for anything that goes fast on wheels.

The format of the Tech Talk will be scenario-based: You’re faced with a handling problem in a particular turn, so Ross will talk about ways you can adapt your driving, while Jake discusses adjustments you can make to your car.  Bring your questions, and get ready to have fun learning how to get around the track faster!

We are very excited to have this opportunity to meet with Ross and Jake and hear their recommendations on how we can make the most of Geschwindigkeit 2011.  We hope that you will be able to join us for a couple of hours to improve your approach to high performance driving with Audi Club Northwest.
