Taste of the Track
The BMW Car Club of Ottawa is pleased to host a taste of the track.
This is the perfect opportunity to try track driving if you are undecided about driving your car on the track.

All drivers are welcome.
The event will be held at the challenging world class Calabogie Motorsports Park.
The track facility is located near the village of Calabogie Ontario.
The full 5 KM track will be used.
Driver Registration is $125.00 + HST
All makes / Marques are welcome.
You do not need to own or drive a BMW to participate.
The event requires a a minimum number of drivers.
Be sure to register before July 14 2017 if you want to attend
NO registration fee will be charged Until the required number of drivers are registered
Your $125 registration fee gets you a taste of what is involved in an Advanced Driving school, in an easy relaxed atmosphere with fellow enthusiasts.
The day begins mid-morning with a quick once-over of the car, a classroom session to cover basic track etiquette, marshals and flags, how to adjust your seating position and a little bit about the track. The first on-track session has your instructor take the wheel for a couple of laps at low speed to let you get an overview of what's coming up, after which you take over!
Two more on-track sessions follow, with your instructor giving real-time feedback through helmet-to-helmet communicators.

Lunch is 12:20 to 13:20 (12:20 PM to 1:20 PM)
Class time starts at 13:20 (1:20 PM)
First track session starts at 14:10 (2:10 PM).
Event requirements
All Participants
Your car needs to be in good condition.
Your tires and brakes should have more than 50% of their life available.

This is to ensure your safety and the safety of your instructor
Helmet Requirements
Participants will require a helmet that is in good condition with a minimum Snell M2010 or Snell SA2010 certification.
Helmets can be rented at the Track.
Your Vehicle
All makes / Marques are welcome. You do not need to own or drive a BMW to participate.

Calabogie is a long and challenging track, with 20 corners (many with blind entry points) and numerous elevation changes.
