SPEED FEVER IV A New Cure!
Well, it's getting to be that time of the year; if you're catching Speed Fever it can really hurt... First, there is just the lack of track time; we all know that time spent going fast is anti-aging. Then there are the mental games: Will the weather warm up enough to allow for garage time to fix up the track car and get it tested before the first DE of the year??? Will that trick stuff we put on the car work and last??? Yes, it is that time once again, time for the RMR DE season opener!!!
The charity for the weekend will be the Winter Park Volunteer Ski Patrol Educational Fund in memory of our friend and fellow DE'er, Gary Dodge. Gary was a long time Ski Patrol Volunteer and Rocky Mountain Region Porsche Club member.

Registration opens at 7:00 AM in Classroom
Mandatory all drivers’ meeting at 8 AM. Mandatory first time drivers' meeting following the all drivers' meeting.
Location: High Plains Raceway, 17 miles east of Byers on US-36
Event Registration fees:
Either day: Driver: $180
Co-driver $155 (must be driving the same car)
Both days: Driver $260
Co-driver $235 (must be driving the same car)

Event requirements
National PCA membership number and membership status will be verified as part of the registration process. If you do not include a valid PCA membership number (or forward a pending membership confirmation from PCA to the registrar), a $10 non-member fee will be assessed. Non-member registrations will be placed on a waitlist status until 2 weeks prior to the event and will be confirmed at that time pending track availability.
You must be 18 or older with a valid driver's license to participate in this event.
You must have a Snell-certified SA2005 or M2005 or newer helmet. You must wear long pants and long sleeve shirt (made of natural fibers) and closed toe shoes while driving.
No convertibles or open cars without roll-over protection. No trucks or non-Porsche SUVs.
Free Pre-techs will be held on Wednesday, April 17th at the following locations:
