Southern Kart club presents the Southern 250cc Superkart Challenge!  As an addition to our normal club race series, SKC will host this event in partnership with Mark Croslyn:

The Eagles will be flying at Robeling Road May 19, 20. Just north of Historic Savannah, so come early and see GA's history from the beginning (http://www.visit-historic-savannah.com ).

Gas Gas
ICE

WKA Unlimited or USSK rules. Step ups are allowed and nerf bars are encouraged but not mandotory.
Trophys will be Eagles 1st 2nd and 3rd for each Class

A block of rooms has been reserved and if you mention the "Superkart Challenge" the rate of $59 plus tax will apply and this includes breakfast and the usual stuff pool, etc.

Friday will be check in and set up day and gates will not open until 5:00 pm. We will pit together with easy access to the grid. Motorhome hookups are available and a fee will be charged.

Saturday gates open at 7:00am and a breifing will be held at race headquarter or the pits. A mandotory driver meeting will be held by the host club SRRS and will start at 8:00am sharp.
We will have at least 2 rounds of practice and qualifing will be first up after the lunch break. We will be the last race of the day, grid positions determined by qualifying.

Sunday gates open at 7:00 and driver meeting 8:00am again 2 rounds of practice. Our race will be 1st race after the lunch break. Podium and trophys presention will be 30 min after race end.

Entry fee is $250 for the weekend

“HOOSIER REWARDS” CONTINGENCY PROGRAM - 2012 Southern 250cc Super Kart Challenge
The “Hoosier Rewards” contingency program has been established to reward the top qualifiers of the FE, ICE,
and Gas Gas classes competing at the 2012 Southern 250cc Super Kart Challenge held at Roebling Road in
Savannah, GA on May 19-20, 2012. The fast qualifiers for each class that meet the following program
requirements will be rewarded with one free set of Hoosier Super Kart Tires (4-tires total).
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS:
1. Driver must utilize Hoosier kart tires on all four wheel positions of their kart.
2. Driver must qualify and race within the FE, ICE, or Gas Gas class at Roebling Road on May 19, 2012.
No other class will be offered a contingency.
3. Each eligible class must have a minimum of six (6) kart entries. An “entry” is defined as a kart that
completes 1 lap during the qualifying session.
4. A race official must sign this form verifying requirements #1, #2, and #3 have been met.
5. If the contingency is not claimed by the top qualifier of an eligible class, it will be offered to the winner of
that class’s Final Race on Sunday, May 20th. The winning driver must satisfy requirements #1, #2, #3, &
#4 in order to claim the contingency tires.
