Southeast Fall 2016 BMW BrodeoSmoky Mtn. Meadows Campground
About this event
The BMW Brodeo is a camp out gathering of BMW driving enthusiasts from across the southeast in the Appalachian / Smoky Mountain region. It's a chance to enjoy the beautiful fall foliage of the Appalachian Mountains and all the curvy roads it has to offer, including US129 Tail of the Dragon, Moonshiner 28, Blue Ridge Parkway, Cherohala Skyway, and many other great roads of the region.
2016 is the ninth year of our biannual event which includes group drives on the great roads, plenty of group campfire time and beautiful wilderness camping. We are again camping at Smoky Mountain Meadows Campground in Bryson City, NC. Also again this Fall, we will have use of the entire campground. The camp sites are first come at $10 per night. There is no additional fee for premium sites (like at the Spring event).
OGs know the early bird drill.
Event registration is $10 per night. You may sign up for 1, 2, 3 or 4 nights.
Registration reserves your spot on a camp site and covers the tons of firewood burned over the three nights we are there.
We will be camping at a higher elevation and it can get cold. Typically we see temperatures in the 30s at night and 60s in the daytime. Bring some warm clothes and camping gear suitable for colder weather.
There will be a group bonfire nightly which is suitable for cooking meals.
Friday night there will be a Brunswick Stew dinner for everyone attending as well as some home-brewed seasonal beer.
