IMPORTANT CHANGE - The meetings and banquet will be at the Sea Palms, however due to issues beyond Sea Palm's control, they will not be providing guest rooms. If you previously made reservations, arrangements have been made to relocate your guest room to the Best Western Plus, located at 301 Main Street on St Simons Island. The direct phone number for the hotel is 912-638-7805. The hotel underwent a full renovation in 2017. You will need to contact them directly. Sea Palms is not allowed by law to transfer your payment. All prepayments will be refunded. The Best Western is guaranteeing the same rate you had with the Sea Palm. The Sea Palm will pay the difference, if any, directly to the Best Western.
If you haven't made a reservation yet and need you, you can contact the Best Western or another hotel in the area, but there isn't a break in costs.
If the division made reservations for you, you will automatically have a room at the Best Western. You need to do nothing other than check in there for your room.

This year’s SEDIV Convention will feature individual meetings with the Divisional Administrators, ECR Committee, SARRC Committee, Divisional Solo, Time Trials, Rally Cross, Stewards, Tech, Timing & Scoring, Registration, Flag & Com, Race Control, Newsletters, Web Developers, Membership, and the SCCA National staff. In addition, a special training class is scheduled Sunday AM for a new youth go karting prograam.
The center point of this year’s convention will again be the Awards Banquet at which all SEDIV National, SARRC, Solo , Time Trials and Rally Champions will receive their awards plus the SEDIV will honor outstanding members with the Reuter, Fitzgerald, Holland, Webb, Director’s, Worker of the Year & Bobby Clark Awards. The banquet meal features a buffet of grilled chicken, marinated flank steak, red potatoes, rice, almond green beans, salad & dessert.
We will again be a guest of the Sea Palms Resort & Conference Center on beautiful Saint Simons Island, Ga. The special low room rates start at $84 RESERVATION MUST BE MADE BY 1/2/18 TO GET THIS RATE. All entries and money MUST be received by Monday, January 29, 2018 in order to avoid a $20 late fee (no exceptions). You can pay by credit card when you register on-line, or you can mail a check (payable to SE Division SCCA) to Betsy Speed, 200 Robin Rd, Lincolnton, NC 28092-3253, but make sure that the check will arrive by January 29, 2018. The hotel requires that we provide a guarantee banquet number and meal selections by January 30, 2018. If you are unable to use the on line system, please mail this form with the appropriate fees. Full refunds will be provided if cancellations are made prior to Monday, January 29, 2018. No refunds will be made for cancellations made on or after January 29, 2018.
