“Held Under the SCCA Time Trials Rules”  Sanction Numbers  20-TERG-9109 / 20-TTTA-9110

Welcome to the 2020 season round 3, a Two Day combined Track Event and Time Attack Competition Event . Day 1 on the Thunderhill 3 Mile East Road Course and Day 2 on the  2 Mile West Road Course.

Track Event (TE) is non-timed lapping in your car, with an emphasis on learning. Instruction will be in-classroom and in-car or observation. No previous experience required. Most street legal automobiles and some classes of race prepared cars are allowed. Open top automobiles must have removable factory hardtop installed, factory rollover protection or an SCCA Time Trials approved rollbar. See Track Event Rules and Reno SCCA Supps for Driver Illegibility requirements

Time Trials is a TIME ATTACK competition for fastest lap, open to almost all street-licensed cars and those prepared to the current SCCA Time Trials Rules.  Cars prepared to Solo Street Prepared or Street Mod and all full race prepared open or closed wheel cars are acceptable. Open top automobiles must have factory rollover protection or an SCCA Time Trials approved roll bar. Race Prepared Cars running in a GCR Race class must meet all requirements of their respective class including cage, window nets or arm restraints, fire suppression system and driver safety gear including fire suit, gloves, socks and driver restraint system. Head and neck restraint are highly recommended but not required. See Time Trials Rules and Reno SCCA Supps for driver illegibility requirements.

All groups will have four 20 minute sessions each day.

A limited quantity of loaner helmets are available no-charge.

SCCA membership required; weekend memberships available on site for $20.

Special Introductory Offer: If you have been 'on the fence' trying to decide if track events are your cup of tea Reno Region has established an introductory discount just for you.  Instead of paying the original Track Event Novice entry  we are offering a special $50 discount for first timers that are not experienced 'track junkies' and have not run with us previously.  This Special includes entry in our Track Event (TE) Novice Class, four 20 minute on-track sessions, ample classroom instruction, in-car coach and lunch.  You know you want to do it, now is the time.

Regular Entry Fees: Track Event (TE) / Time Attack (TA), Day 1 - 3 Mile =$290, Day 2 - 2 Mile =$225, Both Days 3 Mile & 2Mile =$390 (recomended)

For those who just can't get enough track time we offer a Dual Entry. For an additional $75 you can run the same car and driver in both Time Attack groups (TT 1 & TT 2). That's a mind boggling 2 hours and 40 minutes of track time, each day!

A $25 Late Penalty for walk-on or late registration may be assed at event.

Transponders are available ($25 rental fee) at Reno Region Time Trial events
