AHRMA is excited to bring back the Pro Challenge to the Barber Vintage Festival
To be eligible for the cash purse, a Pro Challenge racer must meet the following criteria:
- Be a licensed AHRMA member/competitor.
- Be in compliance with the AHRMA Barber Racer Eligibility Requirements (found at org/schedules-results).
- Take part in the Thursday or Friday practice.
- Be registered in the “ AHRMA Pro Challenge” race on Saturday.
- Be capable of racing at a competitive pace within the Pro Challenge race (based on practice lap times).
- Compete on a race bike which conforms to the Sound of Thunder 2 (SoT2) class machine requirements (refer to ahrma.org/ahrma-handbook).
TRANSPONDERS ARE REQUIRED FOR PRACTICE
There will be NO practice on race days; therefore, all riders MUST practice either Thursday or Friday or may practice both. Riders who receive a waiver MUST practice both days.
The DIRECTOR'S CHOICE - 700 CHALLENGE class will be included in the Race class choices and is separate from the Pro Challenge registration selection.
2026 Director's Choice - 700 Challenge
The 700 Challenge will include:
-Aprilia RS 660 in SuperSport spec
-Triumph Daytona 660 in SuperSport Spec
-Yamaha YZF-R7 with limited top end engine modifications
such as airbox and high compression pistons
-Suzuki SV 650 up to 700cc in Superbike Spec
-Ninja 650 up to 700cc in Superbike Spec
-Kramer 690
-Legal bikes from AHRMA classes SOT3 and SOT4 are also eligible

2026 BARBER WAIVER
Please read the following in it's entirety:
1. If you have a question regarding AHRMA Road Racing at Barber, please do not reach out to Barber. Email questions to: ahrma@oneracing.org
2. All vehicles allowed in the paddock will be issued a Paddock Parking Pass at credentials (See schedule below for credentialing times/locations). This parking pass must be displayed on the vehicle dashboard for the weekend to enter/re-enter the facility as well as the paddock. Please note when entering the facility that all people in the vehicle will be required to show wristbands for re-entry into the park.
3. Camping & Electric Charges: If you plan to camp in the paddock, the cost is as follows: $140.00 for the entire event. Power is $120.00 for the entire event (If you take an electric spot you still need to pay for camping as well) . Camping and Electric are separate charges. Access to Paddock and Camping Reservation link will be included in your race registration confirmation email from MSR.

Move out: Sunday 2 Hours after conclusion of racing. ALL Participants that will be attending the Board Meeting must move to the 4th Tier of the Paddock. LOT C is available for those who are not attending the meeting and need to stay Sunday night.

Event requirements
All helmets used in road racing must have been manufactured within the prior 60 months of the date of competition and meet Snell (or equivalent) standard at the time of manufacture. (see 2025 AHRMA Handbook section 3.3.14)
BACK PROTECTOR REQUIRED
You MUST PROVIDE Personal your Medical Insurance Company's name. *AHRMA requires that every participant carry personal health insurance; it is wise to consult your individual carrier for coverage details. You must have Medical Insurance in order to Register. And, you acknowledge you are aware of the possibility of a medical air transport in the event of significant injury.
TRANSPONDERS ARE REQUIRED! To rent a transponder, please add it to the registration.

Before AHRMA issues a road race number, you must sign up to race and provide proof that within the past two years, you have competed with another road racing organization or have successfully completed a road racing school (please provide a copy of road race license or certificate).
