Restoration Tech Session at Griot’s Motors
May 21, 2022 10AM
It’s likely happened to all of us car enthusiasts at some point: you come across a great opportunity on a unique vehicle that needs a “little” work. Then you think to yourself, “maybe I could take on a project car?” Or maybe you are in the middle of a project car and need some assistance getting it completed. If you find yourself nodding your head yes here, then join us on Saturday May 21 at Griot’s Motors in Tacoma for an informative tech session on automobile restoration.
The session will start promptly at 10:00 am with a tour of the facility followed by a meet and greet with the restoration technicians. We’ll have a discussion on start to finish restorations covering considerations for selecting a shop or tackling some or all the project yourself. We’ll also chat about buying a car sight unseen in the modern era of online shopping and auctions. The session will conclude around 1:00 pm which leaves enough time to peruse the collector cars on display and shop at Griot’s Garage which is just south of the Griot’s Motors facility in Tacoma.
The person registering for this event MUST be a BMW CCA member.
Sign up early. There is no charge to attend; however, the event is limited to 40 people. You MUST be registered to attend.
