Join the Rocky Mountain Chapter for the Pre-Race Day Car Show at Winslow BMW in Colorado Springs
Held on Saturday of the 104th Pikes Peak International Hill Climb weekend, this event offers a truly unique way to connect with the motorsport community before race day. You'll get exclusive access to some of the PPIHC racers including Tom Tang, and their competition vehicles like Ursula alongside a diverse range of hundreds of BMWs!
Whether you are arriving with the morning convoy from Denver or joining us locally in the Springs, the show provides a curated environment to see both professional race builds and member vehicles up close. The Pre-Race Day Car Show features peer-voted awards across eight distinct categories. These classifications are designed to recognize the technical diversity of the chapter's vehicles, from historically significant antiques to modern performance builds. Categories for the auto show include:
- Best Restoration
- Best Graphics
- Best Wagon
- Best Mods
- Best Classic 1970-1990
- Best Antique <1960
- Best Modern 1991-2020
- Best New Age 2021-2025
Event Details:
- Location: Winslow BMW, 5845 N Nevada Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80918
- Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Catering: Dr. Taco and Pretzel King will be on-site with food and beverages available for individual purchase (registration includes a $20 voucher for lunch)
Registration & Fees:
- Entry Fee: $45 per vehicle (multiple vehicle registration is permitted)

Note: there is no registration required to attend this event as a spectator, however you must complete registration for any vehicles you'd like to participate in the German Auto Show
Event requirements
Priority registration is now open for club members to participate in the German Auto show. The cost will be $45 per vehicle and all proceeds help the not-for-profit Rocky Mountain Chapter with the expense of putting on this and other events throughout the year. Registrants will receive one reserved parking space within the event area, a selection of comemorative merch and a $20 lunch voucher
On April 15th registration will open to RMC members first followed by open registration starting 5/1 giving the general public access for any remaining spots. As this is a BMW event we highly encourage you to consider registering your BMW but will welcome any German manufactured vehicle for the show. Auto show registrants will need to arrive one hour early to load in vehicles prior to the event start.
Day of the event notes:
Please arrive no later than 9:30a for trailered vehicles or 9:45a for non-trailered vehicles - please do not arrive any earlier than 9:15a (registered vehicles requiring a trailer to offload must be on-site no later than 9:30a or risk being denied entry)

- Please do not arrive earlier than 9:15a
- Each registered vehicle owner will be given one reserved parking space inside the event area, one bag of comemorative items and a $20 lunch voucher for use at the onsite food trucks
- Owners will be allowed to leave the event space and keep their vehicles on-site unattended, however, the club will not be held liable for any incidents that could occur while the owner is offsite
- Reserved parking will be organized by event category, you must designate which category you would like your car to be considered for at the time of registration
