About this event
Shenandoah Region members and their canine companions are invited to attend the second annual SRPCA Porsche Pups event on Sunday 3/22/26. Come spend some time with your furry family in the country. Dog loving members may also attend solo without a pooch.
Weather permitting, the event will be held at le Berceau, Barbie and Ray's home in Rapidan, VA . This is an outdoor event, so plan accordingly.
Participants are strongly encouraged to bring their lunch and a chair or blanket upon which to sit and have a picnic. The club will provide water and sodas.
Plan arrival by 11 a.m. for the group walk at 11:30. This will allow the dogs to familiarize themselves with each other and for the humans to get a layout of the property. For the initial walk, all participating dogs must be leashed. Lunchtime will follow. After lunch, participants can hang out around the property and explore. Bring a ball or frisbee to play fetch. Consider bringing a towel as there is a small pond and the property is bound by a creek.
There is approximately a mile of gravel road to the property, therefore arriving in a Porsche is not mandatory. The activity is open to Shenandoah Region members and dual members of FSA. Please remember that this is an outdoor event and be aware that the property is not fenced.
We will be collecting cash or check donations for the Culpeper Humane Society.
Volunteers are needed as well. If you are able to volunteer or have any questions about this event, please contact Ray Chung at ray.chungmd@gmail.com
The address is 7310 Crooked Run Lane, Rapidan, VA 23733.
