Years in the making, come join the POC for an exciting weekend of Cup Racing at the Sonoma Raceway formally Sears Point/Infineon Raceway. It's been almost 6 years since the POC ran at Sonoma and it took a lot of work to get this opportunity. We're joining Speed SF, a bay area DE group who graciously sold us our run group. All events at Sonoma (except pro races) are 103db maximum sound limit and that will be strictly enforced. Please register early so we can plan the required logistics. As customary, the POC won't charge your account until 2 weeks before the event. Our combined Red/Orange group will have 4 sessions per day consisting of a 20 minute warmup, 25 minute practice, 25 minute qualifying, and a 30 minute race each day. We will have split starts to be determined by class entry counts.....

This is an expensive venue for the POC and our entry fee will be staggered based on the number of participants who register. If we only get 30 or less registered racers the entry fee will be $695. If we get 35 that fee goes down to $650 and if we get 40 the fee will drop all the way to $600 so talk up this event with your race licensed friends. We will not be offering the Early Bird Special discount for this event as our pricing  reflects the minimum the Club needs to produce. Last second registration at the track will be $100 higher than online pricing-no exceptions so register NOW.... 2018 POC membership is required. You can renew or join on the registration page as MSReg. Event cancellations must be received by Friday June 22th. at midnight for a full refund. ....

Friday Practice and Registration Check-In: Sonoma raceway holds a open practice Friday, please check with them for their requirements and costs  Paddock entrance will be available for load in Friday July 6th.  https://www.sonomaraceway.com/track/testing_schedule/

Saturday Morning Check-In: Check-in will be available Saturday and Sunday morning at a registration location to be assigned. 

Garages: There are a very limited number of garages available to rent @ $200 for the weekend. They are 2 car (nose-to-tail) garages and will be held on a first come, first served basis in registration.... 

Vehicle tech inspection should be done at an official POC Tech Inspection Station before you get to the track to avoid check-in delays and last minute repairs. Tech inspection at the track will be provided by PRO Motorsports and Vali Motorsports starting at 7:00 AM. The cost is $20, payable to POC.

Tire service: AIM tire is located at Sonoma Raceway. You can reach them at:  http://www.aimtire.com/

Fuel: Leaded and unleaded race fuel will be available at the track both days.  Purchases can only be made by using a credit card.

Camping: Overnight (dry camping) should be available in the paddock area on Friday and Saturday nights. There are also campgrounds in the surrounding hills just like at Laguna. I'm working on those costs and will post when verified....
