About this event

Plains, Trains, & Automobiles HPDE

RMR/PCA High Performance Driver Education Event at High Plains Raceway

Saturday October 12 and Sunday October 13, 2024

Get ready to embrace the cooler temps and increased engine power of Autumn in our final Driver’s Education event of 2024. Whether it’s your first time behind the wheel at an HPDE, or your next time, you’ll have a chance to celebrate the capability and fun built into our favorite cars.

Our last HPDE of 2024, Plains, Trains, & Automobiles, is on the Weekend of October 12th and 13th.   We’ll be taking advantage of our beautiful fall weather to repeatedly explore the 15 turns and 2.55 miles of High Plains Raceway.

Whether you’re a first timer or veteran, our event chair, Chris Jacobson, promises plenty of excellent seat time. You can expect to leave the event with improved awareness, enhanced driving skills, new and strengthened relationships with fellow enthusiasts, and an urge to sign up for future events.

This event is an opportunity to support a very worthy charity: There With Care (https://therewithcare.org/). There With Care works with hospitals and social workers to identify and ease the stresses a family faces when their child experiences a medical crisis or critical illness. Your donation brings comfort and care to families by donating to these critical needs. You will be able to contribute to the charity during registration and, as always, there will be lunchtime charity rides on both days of the event.

Location: High Plains Raceway, 17 miles east of Byers on US-36 (Deer Trail)
Registration: Opens September 12th at 9:11am
Event Registration fees:
Either day: $250 Each Driver
