Intro to Kart Racing Academy

Learn race craft with the Pitt Race Intro to Kart Racing Academy. This event is designed for a new kart driver that has never been on track before.

The 1-day academy will include:

• Flags and their meanings
• Get behind the wheel of our race-prepared rental karts
• Track Etiquette 
• Learn the fastest route on track (the race line) 

Registration starts at 4:30. The first academy session will begin at 5:00 pm, with the first on-track session beginning at 5:30 pm. 

Track time will include a lead-follow lap of the race line, a 10-minute practice session, a 10-minute qualify session, and a 10-lap final race. 

Spectators are not permitted at this time due to state regulations. You are permitted to bring crew members, but they must also complete the digital waiver for this event. The waiver link will appear during your registration on the next few pages. 

Pricing

• Pre-registration Driver Entry required, $50 entry per event.
• Registration will close at noon on the day of the event.
