Welcome to round five of the 2011 season, a combined Performance Driving eXperience / Club Trials / Track Trials Event on the road course at Reno-Fernley Raceway.
Performance Driving eXperience (PDX) is non-timed lapping in your own car, with an emphasis on learning. Instruction will be both classroom and in-car. Open top automobiles must have removable factory hardtop, factory rollover protection or an SCCA Time Trials approved rollbar. No previous experience required.
Club Trials is a timed competition for fastest lap, open to almost all street-licensed cars. Convertibles must have approved roll bar and/or hardtop. Street tires must be used.
Track Trials is a timed competition for fastest lap, open to all race-prepared cars. Full safety gear required including fire suit.
ALL CARS MUST PASS SAFETY INSPECTION. Approved helmets required, limited number of loaners available.
SCCA membership required; weekend memberships available on site for $15.
Entry fee $175 (PDX, Club Trial or Track Trial); $250 for dual entry (same driver, same car). Transponders required for times; transponder rental $25. Registration and Tech Inspection open at 7 a.m. Reno-Fernley Raceway is located five miles south of Fernley NV on U.S. Hwy Alt-95.

Notice: Timing is not allowed in SCCA PDX events. Transponders are required for all Club or Track Trials competitors wishing to have timed results or to compete for region championship points. A limited quantity of transponders are available on a first come, first served basis for a rental fee of $25.
