2018 Two Day PCA Zone 7 Autocross School
Welcome to the Zone Autocross School sponsored by Porsche Monterey
Event Chairmen: John Seidell and Howard Yao
The event will be held Saturday and Sunday April 28-29 at the Marina Municipal Airport, Marina, CA. This event is geared toward drivers with minimal or no experience in autocross. We will concentrate on a series of focused technical skills on Saturday and spend Sunday applying those skills on an autocross course. The fee for this two day event is $120.00 and covers lunch, an event tee shirt and a copy of The Secrets of Solo Racing by Henry A. Watts. This event is perfect for couples as the skills being taught will enhance your everyday driving ability as well as increase your competition skills. This event is limited to 50 students to maintain a 2:1 student/instructor ratio. Due to the limited size of the school, this event is intended for Porsche drivers with little or no autocross experience and who have not previously attended this school.
Event requirements
This event is open to Porsche owners only. You must be eighteen years of age or older to register. A Snell 2005 or later helmet is required, open face or full face are both acceptable. There is only a limited supply of loaner helmets at the event so we encourage you to bring your own helmet.
