Registration for this event is restricted to PCA Members until June 10, 2012. Then it opens up to anyone with a track worthy car.
Join ORPCA for a weekend of fun and learning on the track with your car and fellow motorsports enthusiasts. You can find all about our program on www.oregonpca.org select HP Drivers Ed from the Quick Links menu.
This event is a one day HPDE on Saturday followed by a one day lapping event on Sunday at the New Oregon Raceway Park track near Grass Valley Oregon. Registration is open to first time novices, intermediate, advanced and instructor classes for Saturday and Advanced intermediate, Advanced and Instructors on Sunday. Regardless of class, if you have have not driven ORP before you will be given an instructor. No novices are allowed on Sunday as there will be no instruction available. Gates will open around 7am and close around 7pm...
This event will run with our normal HPDE format of four run groups on Saturday and on Sunday we will use the lapping day format. Open run sessions from start to lunch and again from after lunch to end of the day, with a maximum of about 30 cars on the track at a time.
We will also provide the opportunity for some paced parade laps each day during the lunch break. Anyone can participate in these and no helmets or special registration are required.
The event fees for Saturday are $175 for early bird, $195 for regular and $215 walkin. On Sunday early bird is $275, $295 for regular and $330 walk-in.
Those of you that register for both days will enjoy a Hosted Saturday Night BBQ at the track. For those not attending both days tickets are $15.
Lodging options include motels as well as houses for rent in the area.

Event requirements
All participants must be 18 years or older. You must posses a valid Drivers License and you should carry insurance both liability and collision to help minimize financial exposure. Please check your policy and with your insurer to ensure that you are covered. If your insurer does not cover HPDE events collision insurance can be obtained through this web site.
There are no passengers allowed in cars at ORPCA HPDE and Lapping day events.
As of 2011, acceptable helmets are SNELL SA/M 2005 or SA/M2010 approved. SA/M2000 helmets are considered expired. DOT Only Rated Helmets are not acceptable. You can view the complete requirements on our web site a www.oregonpca.org select Driver Ed from the left side menu.
Proof of an ANNUAL TECHNICAL INSPECTION is REQUIRED for all PARTICIPANTS CARS. If you have already submitted it in the 2012 calendar year you are good to go.
If you don't provide this proof you will not run with us and there will be no refund of fees paid.
