NEGT invites you to join us at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park for some REAL CLEAN RACING at our first event of 2025!
 

Friday

  • 2 hours worth of practice sessions available starting at noon
  • GT Race School with on-track and classroom sessions
  • 3 Hour day into night enduro starting at 7PM

Saturday

  • 3 Hour midday enduro starting at 1PM

Event requirements

EVERYONE PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS

To sign up for the series and register for an event

  • One team captain will register their team for each event using a team profile.
  • All drivers and crew will use their personal MSR profile to register themselves for events.
  • Once a year, all drivers and crew also need to fill out a Safety Gear Self Tech Form and all drivers need to apply for a NEGT race license and update their driving resume in their MSR profile.
  • For info on creating and updating your MSR account, click: HERE.

 

Team Captains (every event)

  • Proceed to the desired event page.
  • Click “Register now” in the lower right, then select your team profile.
  • If you do not have a team profile or need to make a new one, click the “Add another person” button on the right side. Ignore the profile questions that follow. Watch this Team Profile Tutorial to learn more.
  • Fill in the team name field, then click “Team Registration”, select the days you want to race, select and input your car information.
  • Select “Flagtronics Rental” and “Annual Tech Fee” if needed.
  • Proceed to checkout

  • If you are driving, also register as a driver for the event using your personal MSR profile.

  • Direct your drivers and crew to this page and the event registration page
  • Register with MassTuning for the practice time if you want it before it sells out. Type "Northeast GT" in the comments. MassTuning track day registration

Drivers and Crew, including race school participants (every event)

  • Click “Register now” in the lower right, then if needed select your personal profile.
  • Fill in the team name field, then click “Drivers and Crew”, then select “Driver Registration” or “Crew Registration”. Drivers select “GT Race School” if desired.

Driver Application and Gear Waiver for Driver and Crew (once a year)

  • All drivers new and returning for 2025 will need to create or update their MSR profiles and apply for a Northeast GT race license.
  • All drivers and crew will need to complete their annual gear self tech waiver.
  • Driver and Crew Application Walkthrough
  • Go to the NEGT Driver and Crew Application page.
  • The waiver gets done once per calendar year and your NEGT race license will be good for a year from the date received. NEGT race licenses will be automatically renewed for all drivers completing two races a year without incident.

GTC Class Declaration (once a year or after any changes)

  • All team captains with GTC classed cars need to enter their car information into our online calculator. We will review this entry and provide you with a declaration sheet.
  • A tool to experiment with or compare configurations is available on this page.
  • These declaration sheets will be available online.

A Summary of Car, Driver and Gear Requirements

Production Vehicles and More | Any production vehicle of any year that is sold in any market.  Purpose built racecars within our performance window are welcome.

Prepared | All vehicles participating in Northeast GT wheel-to-wheel sessions, including the Northeast GT Race School, must be fully prepared for wheel-to-wheel racing.  This includes: a full to spec roll cage, fire system, master switch, in-date harnesses/seat/window net, etc. Headlights and taillights too please.

Licensed or Experienced Drivers | Drivers need either a competition license or must have recent wheel-to-wheel experience. For those needing to level up or brush up to be eligible, we offer the GT Race School to help drivers new to, or returning to, wheel-to-wheel have a fun, clean and confident racing experience with us.

Safety Gear | Driver and fueling crew safety gear: SA 2015 or newer helmet (2010 for crew only), FIA or SFI rated; fire suit, gloves and shoes, HNR for drivers and balaclava(required for fueling crew, recommended for all).

Flagtronics | Each car will be required to have a Flagtronics FT200.  This will support our drive for clean racing as well as our into night endurance theme, including pit stop timing.  We will have them available to rent.

Westhold Transponder | Each car will be required to have a westhold transponder for this event, Westhold transponders will be provided to each car free of charge.
