SVT Cobra Mustang Club presents "National Mustang Weekend and SVT Superfest 2021" on Track at Virginia International Raceway
Join the SCMC and TCUSA for a weekend of open-track fun. The "on track" portion of this event will be the "Full Course" configuration for both days which is a 3.27 mile track layout. Event includes Saturday "Mustang, and Ford Car Show"and a Saturday lunch time parade laps.
For car show aficionados, we have a Mustang and Ford show over the weekend. The show will be on Saturday with the emphasis on Mustangs and an all Ford Show” to be held on the fully paved north paddock. This is a judged show so you will be competing among the finest Mustangs and Fords on the east coast. The north paddock has plenty of space available for over 500 cars. While all of this is going on, you’ll be located in a prime area to watch the action on track. The north paddock area allows viewing of turns 13 and 14 where you’ll hear the screeching of the tires and the roar of wide open engines.
Car Show, open track, and track laps means it will truly be a National Mustang Weekend!

You must be a member of one of these two clubs in order to participate in the on track portion. You do not have to be a member to spectate or enter the car show/parade laps.

Price list includes:
Two days on track- $550.00 (remember, check gives you $50.00 off)
One day on track - $295.00 (Remember check gives you $20.00 off)
Hyperdrive - $75.00 (One session in your car with an instructor if paid on line)
Car Show - $20.00 (Includes anyone riding with you in the car.)
Parade Laps - $20.00
Event tee - $20.00 (Tee shirts are limited to preregistrations by April1, 2021)
No spectators at this event so you must pay for parade laps in order to have access to the event - $20.00
On-line Member Price after March 15, 2021: $550.00

Event requirements
This event is not a race school and racing is not allowed. This is a High Performance Drivers Education event with the goal of helping you learn skills that will help you on the street and on the track. These skills include situational awareness, car control, track etiquette and protocol, and other techniques that are used by most clubs that organize track events.
This event will run rain or shine.
All helmets must be a minimum Snell SA2010 or newer and provide a completed a helmet waiver form at registration.

All participants while on track are required to wear helmets, long pants, long sleeve shirts, and fully enclosed shoes (no sandals, mules, etc.). All participants must provide a completed helmet inspection form. Please bring completed form to registration - North Paddock classroom building.

Event schedule for this weekend's event:
Everyone should be getting four 25 - 30 minute sessions per day.
This is a reminder of a few items before the weekend. First, the track may require long sleeve shirts when running on track. For many years, we were able to wear short sleeve shirts but we are not guaranteed that every year. We will have some SCMC long sleeve shirts available for purchase this weekend. If you would like to have an "official" SCMC long sleeve shirt, please e-mail me a reply stating so. The cost is $25.00 each. Sizes go from medium to XXXL so sizes are limited.

Friday Night Dinner (Optional) - Many of us will be eating at Aunt Millie's for some great pizza loaded up with cheese or you can eat at the Oak tree Tavern. Aunt Millie's participants should meet up there in between 7 and 830 pm. Registration opens at 5:30 Friday in the north paddock.
Saturday Night Dinner in town - We recommend eating at the Tavern on site.
