Track damage: All drivers are responsible for any track damage that is the result of their actions on or off the track and will be financially responsible for repair/replacement of damaged track property.

Racers:

Your grid position for qualifying is determined by a calculation based on how early you register, points, and how many events you attend - register early for a better grid spot! Race licenses are valid from Jan to Dec. and you must have a current NASA license for this event. You may use a current license from another approved sanctioning body to apply for your NASA license. Check your date of medical expiration. E-mail Beth Dunnivant at beth@nasaracing.net for licensing info. Please check your car info for correctness when registering and include your transponder number. If you do not submit the correct info with your entry or you do not get the info to the registrar by the Wednesday prior to the event when online registration closes, you will be charged $25 at the track. Racers can Supersize TT on Sat/Sun.

HFGT RACE: Qualifying is on Friday and the HFGT race is on Saturday. Email hfgtcompliance@gmail.com for info

Time Trial:

Drivers must have a current Time Trial or current Race License to participate. Entrants must have a transponder and please rent one if necessary (last option on this page). Email Time Trial Director Ben Grambau at bgrambau@gmail.com if you have questions about TT or being evaluated for a license. When registering, please make sure your car information is correct and includes a tx number unless you are renting.

HPDE:

HPDE slots will likely sell out by 6-8 weeks prior due to the popularity of this event.

4 daily sessions on Saturday and Sunday for HPDE 1, 2, 3, 4. Mandatory classroom sessions for HPDE 1, 2,and 3.

**If your group is noted as full, please sign up for the waiting list. We do tend to get several off the wait list with the normal cancellations and additions of instructors, and chances are particularly good for getting a spot if you can get last minute notification the week of the event**

Run groups and driver/car requirements explained:

HPDE1- beginner to novice drivers (est 0 to max of 6 HPDE days); instructor & classroom provided; restricted passing with a point-by

HPDE2- Intermediate drivers (est 4 to 10 HPDE days); instructor assigned if first time in HPDE 2, check ride or solo; restricted passing with a point-by

HPDE3- Advanced drivers (est 10 to 20+ HPDE days); passing anywhere with a point-by

HPDE4- Advanced/expert drivers and Instructors (est 25+ HPDE days); Must have had HPDE 4 check-ride or be an instructor/racer/tt to register for this group.

Instructors:

Instructors have a Sat/Sun option on VIR Full Course. To be eligible for Instructor benefits every instructor (HPDE 4 and TT) should select Instructor - Instructor PLUS Instructor - HPDE 4 or Instructor - TT (depending on where you want your track time). This means every instructor will have two line item entries. A third option for Patriot Course instruction will open in February.
