You have found the info & pre-registration page for the 2015 NASA Mid-Atlantic Autocross at North Carolina Center for Automotive Research (NCCAR) in Garysburg, NC on Sunday April 12, 2015 from 8am to 5:30pm. We will absolutely run this event rain or shine. The tentative schedule is:
Gates open @ 7am
Reg & Tech open @ 8am
Course walk @ 9:30am
Drivers meeting @ 10:00am
Heat 1 @ 10:45am (heat 3 drivers work)
Heat 2 @ approx 12:30pm (heat 1 drivers work)
Heat 3 @ approx 2:15pm (heat 2 drivers work)
Cars off course by 5:30pm
Gates close @ 6:00pm
This event will take place for about 90 entries (three 30-car heats) on a big/fast/fun road course, reconfigured for autocross. This is a great opportunity to autocross on a surface built for grip! Participants can expect at least 6 runs each, but hopefully more. Pre-registration is discounted below. If it doesn't fill, we will accept walk-up registrations that day for $60 each - cash or card. Fun runs will be allowed after Heat 3 drivers are off course. Everyone on site will need to sign the waiver and get a wristband immediately. This is a closed gate / private event, although drivers may invite guests. PLEASE LIST THREE CAR NUMBER CHOICES WHEN YOU REGISTER (i.e. 7, 17, 71.) WE DO NOT ALLOW DUPLICATE CAR NUMBERS, EVEN IN DIFFERENT HEATS, BECAUSE IT MESSES UP OUR TIMING & SCORING. YOUR CAR NUMBER MAY NOT BE YOUR FIRST CHOICE DEPENDING UPON WHEN YOU SIGN UP. PLEASE PLAN TO CHECK THE ENTRY LIST LINKED FROM HERE THE WEEK BEFORE THE EVENT JUST IN CASE.
