Motorsport Safety Foundation - Level 2 training

Calabogie Motorsports Park

About this event

Note the Following important Dates / Times (preliminary schedule):

You must have completed the online MSF Level 1 course prior to attending.

April 14 - 6pm - 9pm -- Online Google Meets Interactive Classroom session

April 16 - 6pm - 9pm -- Online Google Meets Interactive Classroom session

April 19th 8:30am - 5pm   -- On track Calabogie Motorsports Park

A more detailed schedule will be available closer to the dates.  Each student will have approximately 4 x 20mins of driving time available to them and 8 x 20mins of coaching / right seat time available.  We will likely use both the full track and stadium track configurations depending on timing and scheduling.  This will be a mentally taxing schedule, you may want a break and may not drive the full time, it's not really a driving event, it's a coaching event. During the first portion of the day your driving will be evaluated first as a prerequisite to the coaching training segment and that the time spent in the driving skill bolstering phase will vary by driver.

MSF2 and CMP coaches must possess the following.

Personality and Character Traits:

1. Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills

2. Treatment of all drivers as peers and with respect

3. Willingness to commit to a reasonable number of DE events per season

4. A mature attitude within the "competitive" track environment

Driving Skills:

1. The potential candidate must have at least ten (10) days of DE experience in the Advanced Run group for one or more organizations.

2. Drives the correct line consistently

3. Can communicate while driving at Advanced Run Group speeds

4. Knows the limitation of the car and their own abilities.
