Open Track Days at the CTECH Manufacturing Motorplex are the perfect opportunity to gain experience on either a motorcycle or kart. Participants are treated to plenty of track time without the pressure of organized racing. Track time is split evenly into run groups based on types of vehicles and experience levels. Participants are encouraged to purchase memberships with either the Track Pass program or the Road America Karting Club to take advantage of some great savings. Karts, Supermoto Bikes and Street Bikes 600cc or less will be allowed to participate. Other vehicles will be considered with prior approval from Road America. It is required that all machines be equipped with a fluid catch can. It is also recommended that bikes be equipped with frame sliders and have safety wire installed. All vehicles are subject to a safety inspection and approval by a Road America official before getting on track. Safety gear is required while on track at all times. Drivers of karts are required to have safety gear that meets the standards set forth in the current Road America Karting Club rule book. Riders of bikes are required to have full leather protection or motocross gear with a full skeleton and an approved helmet.
Participants are asked to enter the Road America property at the designated gate listed on the current open track day schedule. Gate 6 is located on highway 67 with Gate 4 being located off highway J. Registration will take place in the area listed on the open track day schedule. Typically registration takes place in the main office during the week and at the CTECH Manufacturing Motorplex timing and scoring building on the weekends. Upon entering the facility please check in with the security guard who will direct you to the proper place to park your vehicle and register both participants and crew members. Registration is open one half hour before open track time and closes one hour prior to the conclusion of the track day.
Track days run weather permitting only. For up to date cancelation information please call the CTECH Manufacturing Motorplex weather hotline at (920) 893-5013. Road America reserves the right to change the open track day schedule at any time so please remember to call the hotline before heading to the track.
No refunds will be given for pit passes. Participant fee refunds will only be given prior to participant going on track.
Member Participant (Track Pass & Karting Club) $30, Non-Member Participant $50, Pit Passes $12. Participant fee includes Rider/Driver pit pass. Spectators are considered crew and will be required to purchase a pit pass.
