Join us for a fun day of motoring across the plains of Colorado to visit the Paint Mines Interpretive Park in Calhan, CO. This is a joint event with MOTR, SOCOM and MINI5280. Open to Minis and MINIs!
MOTR and MINI5280 folks will depart the start location at 9 AM somewhere between south Parker and Franktown. We will have the exact location soon. Exact location to be shared with registered attendees.
We will meet up with SOCOM folks at the Northgate 7-11/Conoco (2524 North Gate Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80921) at 10 AM. The crew will depart at 10:15 AM to ride the backroads to the Paint Mines! After spending a couple hours checking out the park, we’ll depart Paint Mines at 12:45 to head to lunch at a TBD spot in Calhan. Following lunch, folks are welcome to stick with the MOTR and MINI5280 crew for a backroads route back to Denver, stick with SOCOM for a backroads route to the Springs, or head out on their own on Highway 24 then I-25 for the direct route back.

Event requirements
Suggested but not required are:
- Two-way radios
- Sun Screen
- A full tank of fuel
- Water (it will be arrid)
