Everyone is excited to be gathering again, reuniting with old friends and meeting new ones. And where better than the Mercedes-Benz Showcase at Shelton Winery in Dobson, NC. https://www.sheltonvineyards.com
There will be a Friday August 26 drive leaving the hotel at 10 AM that will take us up into the beautiful Yadkin Valley and return by mid afternoon. A lunch stop over will be somewhere along the route.
For those arriving Friday night there will be a group dinner gathering. When you register your car, please indicate whether you will attend the dinner and how many in your party.
Please note that meal costs are not included in your registration fee.
The main event will be the Saturday August 27 showcase of Mercedes on the Shelton Vineyards grounds from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Awards include the traditional Shelton Top 12, People's Choice Best of Show, and MBCA Silver Star Preservation judging for Mercedes over 25 years old. Those seeking Silver Star recognition should bring their COMPLETED Application Form to the event and provide to the judges.
This year Shelton Vineyards is providing Harvest Grill's indoor seating as well as outdoor Harvest Grill Express for show participants. For indoor seating, please make your reservations by calling 336-366-3590. See menus at www.sheltonvineyards.com . Menu offerings include vegetarian features. Shelton has expanded its food services for our Mercedes Showcase and requests no outside food and drinks.
On Sunday August 28 there will be an MBCA Eastern Regional Presidents meeting at the Hampton Inn in Dobson. NC. This regional meeting is for presidents and officers of MBCA Sections and prospective club leaders.
The Hampton Inn at 150 Charlestowne Drive, Dobson, North Carolina will be our host hotel. A block of rooms at reduced rate has been arranged. You need to call the hotel direct to get this rate, ask for the Mercedes-Benz Club rate. Phone 336-353-9400
