About this event
The Motorsports Club of Ottawa is pleased to host an evening of lapping on October 3 at the fabulous Calabogie Motorsports Park! We run rain or shine, from 16:00 to 18:00. Registration onsite opens at 14:00, and there is a mandatory driver's meeting at 15:30 for Solo Drivers, and a mandatory classroom session for New and Intermediate Drivers.
This will be a two-run group event. Everyone will need a helmet, and they are available to rent from the track.
This event will be busy, with plenty of traffic on course. This is ideal for those of you working towards a "sign off" by Calabogie for solo driving in their events. We won't be "signing off" participants, but if you are working with a coach who also works with the track, there is a possibility that you could be recommended for a solo check out ride at a later event.
Please Note: this event is open to cars only. This event is not open to EVs due to track restrictions. If you are bringing an open roof car, such as a Miata, you will need to have proper roll-over protection. Unsure of what that means? Email lapping@mco.org
The Motorsports Club of Ottawa is committed to equity and inclusion. We welcome and encourage participation from all. If you believe you are facing a possible barrier to participation in this event, please contact the Lapping Director: lapping@mco.org -- we don't know what we don't know without your input.

Event requirements
All participants must have a Snell-approved helmet (2015 or later). No helmet? No problem -- you can rent one at the track. All participants need to wear long pants, and closed-toe shoes for the event.
