Mustang Club of America 50th Anniversary HPDE @ Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta

Come join us for the 50th Birthday of Mustang Club of America! Looking for some quality time with your favorite people and favorite car on track? Are you wanting to learn how to drive your Mustang at speed in a safe environment? Have the track days you've participated in been crowded on track? Then join us at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, Braselton, GA, on August 28th, 29th and 30th for three great days of driving. Run group size is limited to 35 except Novice, Novice limited to 25.
Learn high speed driving and car control skills through limited classroom and lead follow instruction from experienced instructors. Bring your street car or track car. No previous experience necessary.
Entry fee is $375 per day or $1000 to drive all three days for MCA and SAAC members. Non-member cost is only $1200 for the weekend or $400 per day. Not a member? You can join MCA for $40 and enjoy MCA membership benefits as well as discounts on future events.
There are a limited number of RV spots available. We expect these to sell out quickly.
Each Track Day Registration includes a 50th Anniversary Event Pass for the driver and one crew member/spectator. Additional spectator passes can be purchased at the gate.

Event Requirements
Run group assignment you select during registration on Motorsports Reg may be changed by the Chief Instructor based on driver experience/resume information provided during this registration process in MotorsportReg. You will receive/confirm your group assignment when you check in at Registration at the track. Run groups will be limited to 35 cars each/day (Novice 25 cars each day). We expect the event to sell out so register as soon as possible please.
Experience levels for run groups:
A = Very Advanced (Solo Driving & POINT BY Passing in Designated Passing Zones with documented advanced driver status)
B = Advanced (Solo driving with documented advanced driver status)
C = Intermediate (Experienced with several driving school and open track events)
D = Novice (Limited experience with one or two prior driving schools or open track events, instruction required)
Car Sharing: Contact Chris Ponder at driving@mustang.org or 318-393-8533 or Jeff Mays at 770-318-0987 before registering if you plan to share a car between two drivers who must be qualified to participate in different run groups as determined by the Chief Instructor. Separate registrations including payment of separate registration fees are required for each driver. Again, students may not share a car in the novice run group.
Open cockpit cars; Examples of open cockpit cars are BMW Z3s, Convertible Miatas, Convertible Mustangs, AC Cobras, Aerial Atoms, etc. See the Convertible Rules attached here. Contact us at driving@mustang.org if you have questions regarding your open cockpit vehicle.
Minimum age to participate is 18 years old..
Helmets must meet the Snell SA 2020 or SA2025 standard. Make sure of the compliance of your helmet as of the date of the event. No DOT or Motorcycle helmets are permitted.
