On October 27, 2012, the SFBA Section had a rare opportunity to see the workings of the worldwide Research and Development team for telematics and infotainment systems in Mercedes-Benz vehicles at their facility in Palo Alto. What we experienced at that special technical event was extremely informative as well as mind numbing!
Well, on Saturday, February 21, 2015, our Section will have another rare and special opportunity to experience MBRDNA’s new and much larger Sunnyvale facility. For those of us who own new or newer Mercedes-Benz vehicles know what advances have been made just in the past few years. Yes, we know about all the work on autonomous vehicles (Mercedes-Benz was the pioneer back in 1994) by Mercedes-Benz and other automobile manufacturers, and this will definitely be discussed. But, do we know what the future is going to bring for our Mercedes-Benz vehicles? You must be there to find out! This is a one of kind event you won't want to miss. We are limited to 60 persons, so this will be a members only event. The Event agenda is in development. It should be available on the website by mid-December or earlier.
