We will meet at Garland Mountain Sporting Clays at 10:45am, they are keeping open a parking area for our group but only till 11am. Sunday brunch or menu service begins at 11am, with shooting starting at 1pm. Lunch and the costs for shooting will be on your own.
You are welcome to bring your own shotgun and shells (must use bird shot no larger than 7.5) and you’ll need to have eye and hearing protection. Garland Mountain offers rental shotguns along with shells, as well as eye and hearing protection for purchase.
If you haven’t participated in clays shooting at Garland Mountain previously, there will be some waivers to sign if you plan on shooting. For those wanting to experience the breathtaking views and fabulous food, but not planning on shooting, there is a full bar on premises – enjoy a mimosa or Bloody Mary while soaking in the atmosphere.
Shooting options are 5-stand, Wobble Trap or three different sporting clays courses, ranging from novice to advanced. Golf carts available for rental for the clays courses.
