About this event
Welcome To the 27th Running of the Maryhill LoopsVintage Hillclimb Revival!
Celebrating European Fords!
We hope that whether you are a spectator, volunteer worker, driver or participant that you will enjoy the 2026 Maryhill Loops Vintage Hillclimb.
The Hillclimb was originally run from 1955 to 1963 when the road was washed away during a severe winter storm. The road was restored as a National Historic Site in 1998 and Robert Bush, a former Goldendale resident and Hillclimb enthusiast convinced the Society of Vintage Racing Enthusiasts (SOVREN) to sanction the Hillclimb Revival in the fall of 1999. SOVREN continued to sanction the event until 2014.
In 2026 following the death of long-time organizer Starke Shelby, the management and promotion of the event was taken over by the Maryhill Loops Vintage Hillclimb Reunion (MLVHR). The event remains a SOVREN points race on the SOVREN calendar even though MLVHR is now the sanctioning body. The group now considers the racing venue somewhat of a motorsports reunion as it attracts vintage prewar cars, as well as historic road race and rally cars sanctioned groups such as SOVREN, SCCA, Conference and vintage cars outside of the Pacific Northwest.
MLVHR Membership fee is $295.00 for cars and.
Note that due to site limitations, registration is limited to 55 vehicles. Priority is given to prior entrants who have received an invitation from MLVHR.
