March 2011 Driving School

About this event

Peachtree Chapter BMW CCA would like you to join us for our first drivers education school of 2011 at Road Atlanta. This school will take place on March 4-6, 2011 on the full course.

2011 Student Registration Fees:

Peachtree BMW CCA members $430

Audi Club members $430 (Audi club members: If prompted, You can proceed to the event registration form by entering your drivers license information while leaving the request for BMW CCA member number and BMW CCA Chapter name blank.)

              Nonmembers $470

  • Student registration for the school will begin on December 27th  for BMW CCA Peachtree Chapter  and Audi Club members. (Your Membership Number needs to be in your motorsportreg.com account to be eligible to register the first week)
  • Please note that to qualify for early registration,  you must have been an active Peachtree BMW CCA/ Audi Club member on November 30th, 2010.
  • For members of all other BMW CCA Chapters and non-BMW CCA members, registration opens on January 3rd.
  • Instructor registration will also begin on December 27th.
 
A track orientation day is also scheduled for Friday, March 4th. It is available for all instructors and a limited number of qualified, experienced students for an additional fee. Students interested in being considered for attending on Friday should check the appropriate box on the registration form. Please keep in mind this is for Advanced A Group students that have proven experience with the Peachtree Chapter. The committee will contact you after evaluating your previous experience to inform you if you've been accepted.

We are now accepting VISA, MasterCard, and e-Check payments through a secure payment process integrated with the registration system.
 
You can check the status of your registration by visiting the “dashboard” section of your drivers account, and confirmed participants will receive a link to the confirmation package via email, at least two weeks prior to the event, containing the medical, technical inspection, and other materials you will require prior to the school.

Event requirements

Registration opens according to the following schedule:

Peachtree BMW CCA/Audi Club member December 27th
Non-Peachtree BMW CCA members January 3rd
Non-BMW CCA members
December 27th

 

All participants must be 18 years of age or older.

Track Damages
You will be held personally responsible for damages to the track that may occur. For example, if you spill oil on the track, damage a tire wall or concrete barrier, Road Atlanta will bill Peachtree BMW CCA for these damages. We will in turn ask you to reimburse us this cost. This applies to any charges incurred for the use of tow trucks or ambulance above what we have agreed to in our contract with Road Atlanta for the event.

Helmets
Helmets must be Snell 2000 or later.  SA- and M- ratings are both acceptable. 

Race Prepped Cars

  • All cars must have 2 seats. If you arrive in a car without 2 seats you will not be able to participate and there will be no refund.
  • All student cars must have equal restraints for instructor and driver.

Cabriolets (convertibles)

  • No cabriolets (convertibles) are permitted. This includes race and/or track prepared Mazda Miata cars, Porsche Boxster and 911 cars, and any other vehicle that was factory produced in the form of a convertible!
  • Hard Top Convertibles are classified as a cabriolet.
  • Absolutely no exceptions will be made.

Please remember, the Peachtree Chapter members who organize and run this event do so as volunteers!
