Welcome to Hero Fund America’s Road Rally through the legendary Hudson River Valley, where every mile has a story to tell. We’ll follow the winding path of the Mahicannituck (ma-he-kahn-ni-tuck) - a name first spoken by the Mahicans, who knew its moods and mysteries long before us. Along the way, you’ll uncover clues, unravel hidden histories, and discover secrets tucked into river towns and country roads. Buckle up, sharpen your wits, and get ready for an adventure where history, mystery, and fun all ride together. Before Henry Hudson's arrival, the river that is now known as the Hudson, was called the Mahicannituck, which means "river that flows both ways."
Your Mission:
Follow the twists and turns of the preset course while solving riddles, clocking miles and enjoying the beautiful sights of the Mahicannituck Valley.

Event requirements
Team Registration Fee: $199
Includes:
- Team Goody Bag (to include t-shirts!)
- Swag (for you & your car)
- Welcome Pomp and Circumstance on Friday Afternoon
- Lunch on Saturday
- Trophy & Prize Basket for the team who comes closest to the course's actual distance & time (remember, this is not a race)
- A Fully Planned & Managed Road Rally!
- WEEKEND OF FUN(d raising)!
What You Need:
- Valid Driver's Licence
- Driver
- Navigator
- Curtated Basket for Sunday Brunch Auction
- Room Reservations for Friday & Saturday Night
- $40 Donation (made ahead of time) for Sunday Brunch (and cash for adult beverages)
- Funds for Friday & Saturday Night Group Dinners
For teams that have joined us in years past, this tour will be a bit different. With one day of driving, two nights at the same hotel and more team participation in the Sunday auction, this 10th anniversary tour will be a fresh, new way to do what we do best - support first responders! This year we have lowered the Registration Fee as teams will now bring their very own baskets for Sunday's auction. Each team must curate a basket that will encourage the friendly competition that continuously makes this the most successful event of Hero Fund America's yearly fundraising!!
