About this event
The Lake Garnett Grand Prix Revival is a unique event that includes a track experience on this historic Lake Garnett Raceway together with a driving tour, Revival Showcase car show, EKAE Autocross, Valomilk Charity Rides, and great food; providing both the participant and the spectator a fantastic experience. What sets this event apart from the other automotive events is that many of the cars and the drivers are not race cars or racing drivers - they are classic cars owned and operated by enthusiasts.
IMPORTANT DATES
- May 1st: Registration opens
- Early Bird registration Closes Sept 1st: The early bird prices will end after Sept 1st. Free shirts are only availabe with early bird registrations.
- Registration Closes: Registration for the event will close on Tuesday before the event.
Event requirements
AUTOCROSS
If you are planning to participate in the autocross, please ensure that you have reviewed all the track, tech, and safety rules which can be found on the www.lggpr.org website. All drivers (and passengers) in the street-car groups must have DOT-rated helmet. Entry into any performance driving event INCLUDES FREE ENTRY into the Revival Showcase Car Show!
TRACK GROUPS
If you are planning to participate in one of the track groups, please ensure that you have reviewed all the track, tech, and safety rules which can be found on the www.lggpr.org website. All drivers (and passengers) in the street-car groups must have DOT-rated helmet. Entry into any performance driving event INCLUDES FREE ENTRY into the Revival Showcase Car Show!
GROUPS V & E
Track Groups V (vintage race car exhibition) and E (modern race car exhibition) have additional driver, safety, and car preparation requirements, so BE SURE to review the rules!
HELMETS
YES, you are required to wear a helmet if you are participating in either the autocross or one of the track groups. What kind depends on which group you are in. Learn more about Helmet Requirements here
PASSENGERS
Passengers are only allowed in the autocross and groups A, H, and R with the completion of a liability waiver from the passenger. ALL drivers and passengers MUST wear a DOT or SNELL approved helmet when on the track.
