About this event
Since 1985, the Los Angeles Karting Championship series has provided a family-friendly, sprint kart racing environment for all ages in the Southern California region. Our mission is to provide the most competitive, largest sprint kart classes in the region at the lowest prices in the industry. We are extremely proud of averaging of 2,400 competitive entries per year. Our first 3 races this year will be held at Adams Motorspots Park, until the new K1 Circuit Karting facility located in Winchester, CA.
You MUST be an LAKC member in order to register for this event (Or purchase a single day membership at the race). If you have not yet obtained an approved membership from LAKC, please register for that event prior to this one. Allow 24 hours for LAKC to process that information.
Event requirements
LAKC runs under 2023 IKF and SKUSA rules where they apply. Certain LAKC rules supersede those rules.
Event Requirements:
- Drivers are required to attend the Driver’s Meeting on race day, roll call can be taken. Anyone absent from roll call at the meeting may start the Main Event at the back of their class.
- Absolutely no gas cans or tires are to be left at the track.
Race Day Schedule
Wristbands must be on at all times
6:00 am: Gates Open
7:45 am: Driver's Meeting
8:00 am*: Warm Up. 7 minute session.
9:00 am*: Qualifying. 7 minute session.
10:15 am*: Pre Main. 10 lap session. (approximate)
12:30 pm*: Main Events. 18 lap session. (approximate)
4:00 pm*: Conclude
