Ever wonder why some cheese crumbles and some cheese melts? Why is that funky rind totally edible? Whether you're prepping for entertaining or just want to learn more about cheeses, this is your chance. Let's get cheesy together.

Join Jenny, co-owner and certified cheese nerd, for a fun and educational afternoon at the Shea Cheese Lounge, where she'll break down everything you need to know about cheese — without the pretension.

We'll taste our way through seven types of cheese, talk about how they're made, and cover the best ways to enjoy and pair them. Think of it as the class that turns you from "I like cheese" to "let me tell you about this washed-rind beauty."

Where: Shea Cheese Lounge, 10880 N 32nd St, Phoenix (North off Shea, on left side on 32rd St.)

When: Wednesday, January 20, Noon (sharp) to 1:30 PM 

Cost: $45.  Includes a very fun Lunch and Learn featuring seven varieties of cheese and crackers, dried fruits and water.  You are welcome to BYOB including wine.   

What you'll get: Knowledge, confidence, and most importantly, delicious cheese tastings.

After the tasting, drop next door to the cheese shop for some take-home delights including cheese, specialty crackers, chocolates, jams, pickles, dinner sandwiches, great gifts and books.

Bonus Activity:  On your own before or after our Cheese 101 Lunch and Learn.  Since you will be in the neighborhood, stop at Antique Gatherings located at 10615 N 32nd St. near the Shea Cheese Lounge.  It is open 10AM to 5PM. With 60 dealers displaying in over 18,000 sq ft of showrooms, Antique Gatherings is one of the largest and finest antique stores in Arizona.
