BMW CCA – Kansas City Chapter - Car Control Clinic

The 2nd annual KC BMW Club Adult Car Control Clinic will be held on June 25th. The Car Control Clinic allows you to explore the limits of your vehicle and yourself, in an open, controlled, and extremely safe environment. The Car Control Clinic consists of both classroom and in-car learning. In class, we’ll discuss vehicle dynamics, tire management, vision and mirror awareness, and proper seating position. Once in the car, we will run through a series of orange-cone parking lot and wet skid pad exercises, learning skills that you can apply to everyday driving. The event is open to all vehicles including convertibles. Helmets are not required.
The June 25, 2011 Car Control Clinic will be held at the Metropolitan Community College - Blue River Campus - Precision Driving Center in Independence, MO.
All you need is a valid driver’s license and the registration fee, which includes lunch.
The event is limited to drivers over the age of the 18. If you are under the age of 18, please see our website for information about our Teen Street Survival Program.
Check-in for registered students opens at 8:00 am and will be at the Metropolitan Community College - Blue River Main Campus. The event concludes at 5:00 pm. The cost is $90 for the all day event.

Event requirements
Pre-Registration Requirements:
· All makes/models welcome (including convertibles!)
· Lunch is provided.
· Registration takes place at the MCC Blue River campus starting at 8am. Please plan on arriving in time to check-in and complete registration.
· Helmets are not required.
· Please plan on being outside and plan for the weather accordingly. Bring a hat, sunscreen, and wear comfortable shoes.
· No refunds allowed. Any cancellations will be granted a credit for the next car control clinic offered by the Kansas City BMW Club.
· Shared cars (2 drivers for each car) are allowed, but each driver must register separately.
· Registration is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. When the school is full, a waitlist will be maintained.
· All drivers must be over the age of 18 and have a valid driver’s license.
