FORMAT / SCHEDULE - JANUARY 3, 2026
- 8:30 Check-in
- 9:00 - 9:30 Classroom instruction
- 9:30 - 10:00 Track walk and racing line / driving techniques
- 10:00 - 10:30 Timed races & coaching
- 10:30 - 11:30 Grid races & coaching
- 11:30 - 12:00 Lunch - pizza!
COACHES
- You will be coached by our very own 2024 K1 Junior World Champion, Giovanni Blackerby!
- Our K1 staff will be on-hand to provide coaching in small groups as well. We ususally assign one coach per every 3-4 drivers.
- We'll use in-helmet intercoms to communicate with drivers to give them feedback in real-time.
COST
- $139 per driver
- We will collect your payment information but only charge you once we meet the minimum of 8 drivers and confirm the event (by Dec 31)
WHAT'S INCLUDED
- Kart rental & helmets
- K1 staff coaching and mentoring
- Lots of track time and experience racing!
- Lunch!
Note: Personal helmets are not required for this event because we use special in-helmet coms.
Event requirements
All drivers must meet the minimum requirements of driving at K1 Speed:
- Must be at least 48" tall
- Must be under 18 years of age
- Must sign or have valid K1 Speed Canton waiver on file (parent/guardian signature for drivers < 18 years of age)
- Must satisfy all other guidelines for our junior karts
