Detroit Region SCCA's June RallyCross School & Twilight Test & Tune presented by Gearhead Homes, Accelerated Kontrol Dynamics, and Kraken Concepts Racing will take place on Saturday, June 6th at Auto City Speedway in Clio, MI.
Thie morning and afternoon will consist of a school aimed at newcomers who want to learn the basics of the sport and refine their skills. The school is open to participants of all skill levels who are current SCCA members as well as non-members. The morning portion of the school will consist of a classroom session that will cover event procedures, SCCA RallyCross rules and classing, vehicle preparation, and basic RallyCross driving techniques. During the classroom portion, each student will be paired with an instructor for the duration of the school.
Following the classroom session, an instructor will take their student(s) for a guided course walk and ride along laps in the student's vehicle or their own vehicle. Following instructor laps, the students will be given a session to drive their own vehicle on the same course. Following this session, the course will be reversed to give students a "new" course to run on.
Following the school, there will be an evening Test & Tune session. The Test & Tune is reserved for SCCA members only. Members who instructed at the school and wish to participate in the Test & Tune will receive a discounted entry fee.

Lunch served: 12:00 pm
Instructor ride along laps: 1:00 pm
Student runs begin: 2:00 pm
Course reversed: 3:00 pm
Student runs resume: 3:30 pm
Student runs end: 5:00 pm
Test & Tune Schedule:
Registration & Tech Open: 5:00 pm
Mandatory drivers meeting: 6:00 pm
First Test & Tune group starts: 6:15 pm
First session ends: 7:15 pm
Second Test & Tune group starts: 7:30 pm
Test & Tune ends: 8:30 pm
