About this event
We're bringing endurance racing to the world of electric karting! This is a special event for those interested in running for 1 hour on the indoor track.
RACE FORMAT
- 1-hour of endurance racing (single driver)
- 2 timed pit stops / kart swaps required - you choose your strategy
- Arrive and drive electric go-karts with high-capacity lithium batteries for maximum performance
SCHEDULE
- Nov 22: Registration opens
- Dec 10: Online registration closes. Min. 10 drivers required to run event.
- Friday, Dec 12: Race starts 8:00pm
COST
- $110 per driver
- We will collect your payment information but only charge you once we meet the minimum of 10 drivers and confirm the event (by Dec 10.)
WHAT'S INCLUDED
- Performance equalized rental karts & helmets
- Transponders
- 1 hour of track time
- Awards for top 3 teams. In addtion, 1st: 2 free races, 2nd: 1 free race.
Note: Race suits, race shoes, and neck braces are optional equipment. Personal helmets are recommended.
Event requirements
All drivers must meet the minimum requirements of driving at K1 Speed:
- Must be at least 58" tall
- Must be under 300 lbs
- Recommended under 6'4" tall
- Must sign or have valid K1 Speed Canton waiver on file (parent/guardian signature for drivers < 18 years of age)
- No driver under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or impairing drugs (legal or otherwise) will be permitted to compete
Event-specific requirements:
- It is recommended that each driver be able to set a lap time of less than 26 seconds (indoor)
- If a driver is unable to compete races at K1 Speed Canton, lap times from other K1 Speed locations will be taken into consideration (contact us to discuss)
