The 40-hour Instructor Development course is designed to give the instructor candidate the knowledge, skills, and abilities to be able to be an effective and productive instructor. Whether on the podium or in the field, once completed, this course will make sure you are successful in the subject matter area(s) you are going to teach.

Students will be evaluated and are required to give a lecture based on a course they design during the class.  This course is also approved by the West Virginia Law Enforcement Professional Standards as a continuing education course for WV LEO.

Items needed for the course:
Students should have and be able to bring a laptop, pen and paper, notebook, and be prepared to write a lesson plan, and create a power point slide presentation.
