Kentucky Region SCCA is partnering with Indy Region SCCA to bring you the “Indy-Ucky2.0” This is a Track event and/or a Time Trial. Friendly competition with a one team mentality.
If you always wanted to drive on track but without the pressure of a group you don’t know or the competition element, you want to be part of our Track Event. Novice friendly group with laid back coaching.
Want to compete? You need to join our Time Trial. You’ll be grouped by experience and sorted by lap time using transponders timing. Novices welcomed. Scoring will be based on car class and prep level. Timing is done by transponder, so you are not actually racing the cars around you on track.
Transponder rental will be included at no charge. We will have live timing, and your times will be used to sort grid for the least amount of traffic and maximum clean laps.
Entries will be capped at 100 to ensure plenty of clear track with minimal traffic.
Registration: Drivers must preregister for the Time Trial. Registration will NOT be available on site. All competitors must be a member of SCCA.
If you are not a member, you have two options:
- Purchase a SCCA weekend membership. You can do this when you register online. Cost is $25
- Become a SCCA member. This may be done before you register. Go to join.scca.com. If you use a SCCA member as a reference, you may be eligible for a discount. If you don’t know a SCCA member, you can use the event chairman’s name: David Melton, member # 297980. There are also discounts for members of the military and those 24 years old and younger.
Entry Fees:
- Saturday Only Track Event (one day): $350.00
- Sunday Only Track Event (one day): $350.00
- Saturday and Sunday Time Trial (two day): $550.00
Event requirements
Run Groups:
There will be four run groups based on experience, awareness and etiquette. Novice will be allowed passing only on straights with point by. Intermediate will have point by passing allowed anywhere. Advanced will have Open passing. We expect five 20-minute sessions each day.

Tech inspection: All vehicles must be Tech'd. Please print and complete this Time Trial Tech Form and bring completed form to Registration.
Street or silhouette cars only please. We cannot allow open wheel, formula, sports racer, legends, or other lightweight race cars.

Helmets: Helmets are required for all drivers. SA2015 or newer.
Numbers: Cars Must display their number on each side of the car in a contrasting color visible for a distance. Numbers are first come, non-repeating, One, two- or three-digit number of your choice. Class designation is also encouraged but not required. Adhesive numbers are suggested; magnets have a way of leaving the car at track speeds. If you use magnetic numbers please tape the leading edge.
"Track event" cars must have numbers.
Convertibles with factory rollover protection are allowed. Convertible with aftermarket rollbars intended for motorsports are allowed. NO STYLE BARS!

Co-Drivers: Each driver must pay the full cost of registration; each driver will have their own transponder.
