IIRA Race Day: February 7th
IIRA's Saturday events include both wheel to wheel racing as well as an open track day. Throughout the day, the course will be used for alternating wheel to wheel and open track sessions in the afternoon. All wheel to wheel entries will be allowed on course during afternoon open track sessions.
On the following Sunday, IIRA is hosting an autocross-style "IceCross" event, with timed runs and a discount for weekend license holders. Registration for that event can be found here.
All events are subject to ice and weather conditions. YOU WILL ONLY BE CHARGED FOR THE EVENT AFTER IT HAS HAPPENED, so you will not pay when you register. Your credit card on file will charged on the Monday after the event takes place.
South Lindstrom Lake
Directions: Enter the lake using the boat launch at Russel Park on South Lindstrom Lake in Chisago City.
- From highway 8: take a right off highway 8 at the Stoplight at Shoquist Lane. Take a left onto Stinson Ave followed by a right onto Aldrid Ave. Follow that to the boat launch onto the lake

- Follow the plowed path to the track on the far east side of the bay
Lunch: We will be taking lunch orders during the drivers meeting if you want lunch ready for the noon break.
Entry costs:
- $100 for Saturday open track day entry
- $180 for Saturday wheel to wheel entry
- $80 for annual license (available here)
- $45 for weekend license

- 7:30 AM: Check-in and tech opens
- 8:30 AM: Driver's meeting
- 9:00 AM: Wheel to wheel practice
- 9:15 AM: First wheel to wheel race
- 9:30 AM: Open track session

- 10:30 AM: Open track session
- 11:00 AM: Wheel to wheel racing
- 11:30 AM: Open track session
- 12:00 PM: Lunch break
- 1:00 PM: Wheel to wheel racing
- 1:30 PM: Open track session
- 2:00 PM: Wheel to wheel racing
- 2:30 PM: Open track session
- 3:00 PM: Wheel to wheel racing
- 3:30 PM: Open track session
- 4:00 PM: End of event
Event requirements
An IIRA license is required for all drivers participating in wheel to wheel and open track events. Multiple licensed drivers may share a single car entry. You can purchase an annual IIRA license here.

All wheel to wheel cars are required to have a Flagtronics FT200 transponder. There will be a limited number available to rent for $50 with a $300 deposit.

- Wheel to wheel racing: Studded tires required. No tires with studs protruding more than 7mm from the tread are allowed
- Open Track: Studded tires are optional. No tires with studs protruding more than 7mm from the tread are allowed
Helmets:
- 2010+ SNELL rated helmet or newer
- ECE 22.05 with manufacture date newer than 2015 (Know where your manufacture date is located before going to tech)
- Passengers are allowed provided they have an approved helmet.
