Return to the Northern WI for Ice Battle. Ice Battle follows a simple rule set divided by drivetrain and tire type. This event will be limited to 50 drivers initially.

FORMAT
Autocross-style runs; standing start, flying finish runs. Typically 4 heats; 2 morning and 2 afternoon. Drivers will run 2 heats and be off 2 heats. Best time from the morning "stage" and best time from the afternoon "stage" combined, with a course switch in the middle of the day for two routes in one day. Each driver would typically see 8-10 runs minimum in one event.
The ice is not thick enough, this event will take place on the frozen grounds of Golden Sands Speedway. Expect a course on frozen earth & snow, crossing pavement and dirt, as a somewhat hybrid to asphalt and ice racing. We anticipate conditions & track surface to be extremely similar to Ice Battle in the past, just not on a frozen lake - both in texture and grip.
CLASSING
Snow Tire: FWD, RWD, AWD
EVENT REQUIREMENTS
Any 4-wheel car, truck, or van is eligible to compete. SXS, ATV's, motorcycles, and snowmobiles are not allowed to compete. There are several classes based on chassis setup (AWD, FWD, & RWD)
Event requirements
All drivers will be required to complete a self-tech sheet before going on track.
Snell 2015 helmet or newer is recommended. DOT helmet required.
16 years and older with a valid Drivers License. Contact us for drivers with track experience under 16.
