About this event
Our Sept. 19 Apple Picking event was cancelled due to rain, but never fear, we are offering a make-up day at the Farm on Thursday, Oct. 8. While we likely won’t be apple picking, we will be helping with the Fall harvest in a variety of ways, from picking vegetables to cleaning and prepping them.
The Farm leaders would like us to be ready to get to work at 8:45 a.m., so please try to arrive by 8:30 a.m.
We will not be providing coffee this time, but will still offer the Cousins Subs lunch afterwards. No children this time as the work may not be suitable.
What: Assist with harvest duties as needed, followed by picnic lunch

8:45 am - work begins under the guidance of farm leads
11:30 am - picnic lunch
Registration includes your food choices by Cousins Subs.

Event requirements
We are not making donations to Hunger Task Force mandatory, but they would be greatly appreciated. Suggested minimum is $50. If you would like to make a donation, please bring checks made out to Hunger Task Force of Milwaukee. If you are unable to attend and would still like to donate, please mail your check to Hunger Task Force, 5000 W. Electric Ave., West Milwaukee, WI 53219. Please add a note "Donation via PCA-MKE" on the memo line.
