Welcome to the 5th annual Hero Fund America Hudson River Valley Tour for First Responders! After last years unfortunate but necessary cancellation, we are really excited to reboot our event & enjoy the extraordinary Spring beauty of the Hudson and everything historic that comes with it! This years Tour will begin in Saratoga Springs, NY on Friday, June 11 and will include a meet and greet cocktail party at the Holiday Inn Saratoga Springs from 5-6:30pm. The Tour will officially begin on Saturday morning, June 12 and include a lunch stop at the Vanderbilt Mansion in Hyde Park. We will tour a bit further south before settling in for an overnight stay in Fishkill, NY. After our breakfast meeting Sunday morning, we will head up the west side of the Hudson for more "roads less traveled" and conclude the Tour with an early afternoon lunch and awards ceremony in Catskill, NY. Included along the Tour route will be several checkpoints and scenic vistas. If you haven't seen the glorious Hudson before or even if you have, this 2 day adventure will check all of your boxes for a relaxing, somewhat noncompetitive food/drink filled weekend all supporting those serving in emergency services: our firefighters, EMT's, paramedics and law enforcement agencies. Registration fee: $199 for driver/co-driver and includes cocktail reception Friday, June 11 and lunch on day one, t-shirts for 2 and window clings. A valid drivers license is required. The Tour is not a race, although we do offer a trophy for the best overall mileage/time combined, along with a highly sought after goody basket valued at over $500 for the biggest fundraising team!
